Saturday 19th June 2021 was the Order of Bards Ovates and Druids online gathering. A full day of talks, a ritual and an evening Eisteddfod all streamed live and free from the Order’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. What an absolutely fabulous day it was, and a privilege to have been a part of it. The Order would have normally had our in-person Gathering in Glastonbury Town Hall but obviously because of the pandemic that wasn’t possible. So these videos will give you an idea of the kind of things we do when we are all together.
Below you will find all of the videos for you to see, and they will remain online for a while so do dive in!

How blessed we are to have been able to celebrate Alban Hefin in this way. It’s strange but even though we are still facing restrictions, speaking personally, I feel more connected to the Order than ever.
For folk like me who are “getting on a bit”, no longer drive and who might find it difficult or too expensive to get to Gatherings anymore, this medium is allowing us to continue to feel we are present with other folk and have access to such quality teaching and entertainment. I do hope that, when the restrictions are removed, the Order might continue to offer this accessibility alongside the face-to-face gatherings that others are able to be part of.
