I’m too old now to do a pilgrimage (I guess I could be creative about that), but this saddens me a little. I missed an opportunity 25 years ago to go on the pilgrimage road ending in Santiago de Compostela . . . with my father. It is what it is. Clarissa Pinkola Estes, the cantadoro, says we have to plough the earth with our walking. Then there are the Bedouins . . . and and and The People Who Walk.
