This is the first of a series of videos where I’ll be talking about the inspiration behind the songs from my new album. In this video it’s all about the inspiration behind the title track Sabbat.

Love the video and song, Dave! Can’t wait to hear the rest of the songs and videos. It was also the magic of Wicca/Witchcraft that drew me to paganism and then Druidry. You and your songs were another thing that helped me to find Druidry and eventually OBOD this past August. So thank you for such wonderful songs. They truly brighten my days. I hope that you are able to come to Ontario, Canada someday.
As I write this it is the day before Ostara, Spring Equinox, and there is still over a foot of snow on the ground and the temp is below freezing. It is supposed to snow tomorrow as well but just as you say in this video, I will bundle up and go out tomorrow night, look up at the cloudy, dark sky and thank the Lord and Lady for this wonderful pagan life they have given me and for the opportunity to take a little time out of my busy life to honor this Sabbat, the one that promises new beginnings, new life. Blessed Ostara to you, Damh!
Brilliant explanation – wonderful images you speak of & wonderful music you’ve created to go with them. 10/10. Thanks for explaing and taking the time & effort to make these three videos. /|\
Another anthem, Damh! Loved it from the first listen and was already singing along after a few. 🙂 Ps. the pic there of Oscar with the pot on his head is so funny. 😀
