  1. Lovely tribute. I have listened to this song so often when I grew up but never really listened to the lyrics too closely, thank you for changing that!
    I sang that round the fire when my English was terrible many a year ago. Live has its ways. 🙂

  2. So totally agree re needing to have a chat to their God or Goddess. I often wonder who they are actually talking/listening to (if they ever actually do) and it may not be who they think it is! The buck still stops with us even so. If a deity asks something of us that it outside our own moral code, we can and should refuse, but I doubt a real deity would do so! Darker things on the other hand…

    • Agreed. Freewill and choice. We can’t just blame religion, it’s still some of us humans doing these things.
