The Awen Journey – Damh the Bard/Anderida Grove

The Awen Journey – Damh the Bard/Anderida Grove

In 2010 members of the Anderida Grove gathered to record the sacred Druid Awen chant (which means ‘Flowing Spirit’, or ‘Divine Inspiration’). I later added drones, drums, bells, gongs and other percussion to create this hour-long soundtrack to be used for Inner Journeying.

Thanks goes to the members of the Anderida Grove that added their voices to this magical soundscape. We’ve had it for many years and have been asked for it often. So here it is for you to use in your practice.

It is meant to accompany inner journeying and meditation, so please don’t listen to it while you’re driving!

  1. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Is there a way of downloading it?
Sitting at a laptop isn’t always focus inducing!

    • Sorry – I meant to make it downloadable. I’ve clicked the button now so if you click the waterfall picture, that’ll take you to the file on Soundcloud, and you can download it for free.

  2. Thank you Damh. How very generous for making this available. It is my birthday today, and what a lovely gift to receive.

  3. Wonderful! For someone who is far from any other OBODies and will probably never experience a continuous Awen, this is a lovely recording to have. My thanks to you and the Grove, Damh. xxx

  4. Wonderful! Thanks so much for sharing. I made a CD-length loop a few years ago (for my private use!) out of the circle chant at the end of Cloak of Feathers, it has accompanied me on many a journey… 🙂

  5. An amazing sound.
Thank you all for this wonderful gift, which I have been listening to whilst watching the beautiful waxing moon shining through the fast moving clouds .
