Last Sunday BBC Radio 4 aired an interview with me about our spiritual relationship with trees. It was done as part of the effort to try and bring awareness of the UK government’s plan to sell off much of britain’s forests. Here is the interview if you missed it.

hi
I feel really sad today – I spent yesterday amongst some trees which to the average passer by just some pretty normal looking hawthorns – actually pretty special hawthorns .
Soon this small wood in Wiltshire will be up for sale – and it just seems really sad that – this wood may be taken away .
Its not a heritage wood.
Its not particularly ‘special’ ( but is to me) .
Somedays its hard to feel the fight but you inspired me with this broadcast !!
thank you
This is great. Sounds like a damned big crow in the woods near Sussex. I wish I could see where you were walking.
We were walking in Abbots Wood near Wilmington, Sussex. A lovely woods!
