Hi Dave, I very much enjoyed this podcast as I have been to Anglesey many times and have been visiting Bryn Celli Ddu since 1997. Knowing Kristoffer and yourself and the landscape I felt I was with you all the way on the walk and could see it all in my minds eye. I wondered have you read Uriel’s Machine by Christopher Knight and Robert Lomas? Chapter 9 ‘The Light of Venus’ is all about Bryn Celli Ddu and how it could be used as a Venus observatory and thus be used to enable the site to allow detailed predictions of the tides and lunar eclipses to be made and thus fulfill the needs of the ancient Druid leaders as laid down in the 8th century document Saltair Na Rann. It’s a fascinating read that obviously links the site to our Druid ancestors (even though the site is thousands of years older being Neolithic.
