Following the Awen’s Flow

My problem is that I want to do everything.

I want to write new songs, record new albums, tour in the UK and overseas, write Songbook 2, and also do all of the other Druidic activities we organise through the Order of Bards Ovates and Druids, and the Anderida Gorsedd.

I’ve realised that I can’t do all of that this year.

The year will turn, the seasons will change, and my Druidry will mark those changes.

I already have a lot of festival concerts booked this year which is wonderful.

My goal is to have a new album for you by November. So I’ve decided not to take on any more concerts until after the launch of the album. There are a couple that are about to be announced, but other than those, and the ones already booked, it’s going to be a year of writing and recording.

As I did with my last album, I’d like to take you with me on the journey, so I’ll be posting updates here on my blog, and through my email newsletter that you can subscribe to on the front page of my website.

I can feel the Awen’s flow, and am ready to dive in and let the current take me.

  2. I think you’ve made the right decision there. So important not to burn yourself out. What you do decide to do will be so much better, and you’ll be fit & well 🙂

  3. Good news I too am looking forward to your new album. I had to look up what Awen’s flow is….very interesting! Thanks for pushing my knowledge base Damh. Diving into the creative flow sounds great – hope the water’s warm!

  4. Some times it is difficult to be all things to everyone. Putting your energies into something you love is the right choice. Good fortune on your journey we will all love the result. Blessed Be

  5. Hi Damh, Arwen will not be denied, and the year will be a wonderful time for reflection and creativity. Check out the Gypsy Race in Yorkshire, you may want to pay your respects to that mystery. All the best from here in Australia

    • Thanks for mentioning the ‘Gypsey Race’…I live in West Yorkshire (& have for 20 plus years) and have never heard of it. Some searching on the ‘net has enlightened me however & I intend to go and check it out. Ironic that you in Australia know of it & I didn’t!
